I'm 18, single and a virgin but I'm dying to lose my virginity before I go to college. How can I even make that possible?

The answer is simple: don’t. More people are virgins in college than you even realize and losing it should be special and awesome. I would really suggest waiting.

i can’t even articulate how much I disagree with this. losing your virginity doesn’t have to be special and it doesn’t even have to be with someone you love. it should be fun, consensual, and safe. if you’re not ready, don’t do it. there’s no deadline on these things, you don’t have to go to college already having lost your virginity (I didn’t lose mine til I was 20), but if you don’t want to wait and you feel like you are ready, then go for it.

i lost my virginity to a stranger who’s name I can’t even remember. it wasn’t special, I didn’t love him, but it was fun, he respected me, I respected him, and it felt good. if I had my time again I would do it exactly the same way. getting it out of the way like that allowed me to fuck around with different people, learn what I like and don’t like, and learn to negotiate sex without the pressure of having to impress someone, so that by the time I found someone I wanted to have sex with more than once, someone I really liked, I was REALLY FUCKING GOOD at sex, and confident as fuck about my abilities, and it wasn’t awkward at all.

this approach is not for everyone, but nor is the “wait, you’ll regret it” approach. different strokes for different folks.
